01Overview
Swinglab AI, LLC ("SwingLabs," "we," "us") makes an app that analyzes baseball and softball swing video to give players and coaches feedback. This policy explains what information we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
SwingLabs does not use accounts or logins. There is no username, password, or persistent identity tied to your device beyond what's described below.
02Information we collect
Profile information you provide
- Role (player, parent/guardian, or coach)
- Age or date of birth — or an age range, if entered by a guardian on a player's behalf
- Optional details you choose to add: height, weight, batting hand
- Whether video-analysis consent has been given
Swing video
The video you record or upload of a swing, and still frames extracted from it, used solely to generate your analysis.
We do not collect your name, email address, or other contact details unless you choose to email us directly for support.
SwingLabs does not use any third-party analytics or advertising software in this app.
03How we use it
- To generate your swing report — mechanics scoring, coaching notes, drill recommendations, and (when available) a 3D model of your swing
- To keep the service reliable and troubleshoot problems
We do not sell your information, and we do not use your video to train our own models or anyone else's.
05What we store, and for how long
On your device
Recorded videos, thumbnails, and saved reports live locally in the app's History tab. This never leaves your device except when sent for analysis as described above.
On our servers
We temporarily store the still frames extracted from your video and the resulting report data to run and display your analysis. We do not store your raw video on our servers — it is sent directly to Move AI for processing and is not retained by us afterward.
These server-side records are automatically and permanently deleted 30 days after creation. Because SwingLabs has no accounts, this data is not linked to your name or identity — it's identified only by an internal record ID.
06Your choices
- Delete on-device data — In Profile → Privacy & Data → Delete My Data, you can instantly and permanently delete every video, thumbnail, and saved report stored on your device.
- Server-side data — Because there's no account system, there's no separate lookup we can perform on request; the frames/report data described above is not linked to you personally and auto-deletes after 30 days regardless of any action you take.
- Request deletion from Move AI directly — Email support@move.ai; they must respond within one month under their own policy.
- Withdraw consent — You can withdraw video-analysis consent at any time in Profile, which disables new uploads.
07Children's privacy
SwingLabs AI is built for players of all ages, but a self-serve account requires confirming the player is at least 13. For a player under 13, a parent or guardian must set up the profile and provide consent on the player's behalf through our in-app guardian-consent flow.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent obtained through that flow.
08Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted transport and access-controlled cloud infrastructure — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
09Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. We'll update the effective date at the top when we do, and post material changes in the app.
